Why create an account ?

Response: 
Opening an account will allow you to make purchases through the Cartier e-Boutique. Once registered, you will not be required to re-enter your personal information which will ensure a faster check-out process. You will have the ability to track your orders easily online at any time. You will receive privileged access to exclusive content and special previews of the latest Cartier creations in the MyCartier section of our website. Save your favourite Cartier creations to your personal Wish List and share them with your family and friends. Sign up for our member e-newsletter, to keep you up to date on everything Cartier.

How to shop online ? 1/2

Response: 

Your Shopping Bag

Selected creations that have been added to your Shopping Bag will remain there for the duration of your active session.

You may purchase up to five creations during any single online shopping session.

Your first purchase

All creations that display a “Details and Purchase” button may be purchased online, subject to availability.

Once you have made your selection, please click the “Add to Shopping Bag” button to place the product in your shopping bag.

When you are ready to finalize your order, please click the “Checkout” button: you will then be guided though the order process. You may remove products from your shopping bag by clicking on "Delete”.

To complete your purchase you will need to create an account or log on to your existing account.

When you have completely reviewed your order, click on the "Confirm and place order" button on the Website to place your order.

Your Wish List
If you would like to save creations to consult at a later date, or if you would like to share them with your family and friends, we invite you to create a Wish List.
You may create up to 20 separate Wish Lists, each with a different name (for example: Diamond Bracelets, Holiday Gifts, Love Collection…)

How to shop through the client relation center ?

You are also able to complete your purchase by telephone, via our Client Relation Center.
If you are interested in purchasing a creation which is listed as “temporarily unavailable,” we invite you to contact our Client Relation Center. A Cartier Ambassador will provide you with further information.

Delivery

Standard Delivery
If you choose Standard Delivery, your Cartier creation should arrive within seven days from the date of your order. Delivery may take longer if you have requested personalization, such as engraving or bracelet adjustment. For orders under $500 excluding tax, the Standard Delivery fee is $25. Complimentary Standard Delivery is offered for orders over $500 tax excluded.

Express Delivery
If you choose Express Delivery, your Cartier creation should arrive within two business days from the date of your order.
This service is provided on request, subject to the availability of the Cartier creation ordered. For orders under $500 excluding tax, the Express Delivery fee is $35. Complimentary Express Delivery is offered for orders over $500 tax excluded.

Overnight Delivery
If you require Overnight Delivery, please contact a Cartier Ambassador at 1-800-CARTIER and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Receipt of delivery

Please note for security purposes, an adult must be present at the time of delivery. At this time Cartier can only accept delivery addresses within the United States of America, the 50 states located therein, and the District of Columbia. Please note that Cartier does not ship to PO Boxes, APO/FPO addresses and hotels.

Cartier Creations purchased through the Cartier e-Boutique or Client Relation Center may be returned or exchanged in accordance with our Conditions of Sale. Please note :

You may return your creation to the Cartier e-Boutique distribution center within 30 days of receipt, for exchange or refund to the original credit card. Merchandise credits are not issued through the Cartier e-Boutique or Client Relation Center.
You are also welcome to visit a Cartier Boutique in the United States to return your creation for exchange or boutique merchandise credit. No refunds will be issued through Cartier Boutiques.
You may return your Cartier creation in a new and unused state, in perfect condition, with all protective materials in place and tags and stickers attached to them. Cartier will not accept any return if the product shows signs of wear, has been used, or altered from its original condition in anyway.

Should you wish to make a return or exchange by mail, please contact us by phone at 1-800-CARTIER to make arrangements. A Cartier Ambassador will provide you with a Return Authorization Number, which must be noted on the Return Form included in the original shipment.
Please send back your return or exchange via the provided pre-paid Fedex shipping label. We strongly recommend you keep note of your return tracking number which is located on the label itself.
Engraved Cartier products cannot be returned to Cartier for exchange or refund.
Watch bracelets that have been adjusted must be returned with the exact same number of links as in the original delivery package.

We encourage you to consult our complete Privacy Policy, should you wish for more information. Cartier will not intentionally collect personal information from minors under the age of 13. We use cookies to help keep track of what you have in your Shopping Bag and to remember you when you return to the Cartier e-Boutique. Cartier does not use cookies to gather personal information. If you do not accept cookies, you will not be able to use the Cartier e-Boutique. Furthermore, should you modify your browser settings to refuse cookies, you may be required to re-register on your next visit to the Cartier e-Boutique.

Please consult the terms of the Cartier International Guarantee for the Cartier Creation you have chosen by following the link here. Only Cartier creations purchased from a Cartier Boutique, the Cartier e-Boutique or Client Relation Center, or an authorized Cartier retailer receive the full benefits of Cartier’s International Guarantee. In order to benefit from this, we request that you present the Warranty Card, which can be found in the delivery package that contains your Cartier creation. This Warranty Card should be filled out, dated, stamped and signed by a Cartier Boutique, by the Cartier e-Boutique distribution center or by an authorized Cartier dealer.

What is a CVV ?

Response: 

“Card Verification Value” is an anti-fraud feature to help ensure that the person placing an order is in possession of the credit card.
The CVV is a three or four digit number printed on the front of back of the credit card.
The CVV appears in different places on different types of cards:
American Express : Four digit number printed on the front of the card, above the end of the embossed account number.
MasterCard / Visa / Discover / Diners Club / JCB : The final three digits printed on the signature panel on the back of the card, following the account number.

Question: 

I currently do not have an email address. May I still purchase items form the Cartier e-Boutique ?

Yes, you may contact our Client Relation Center at 1-800-CARTIER and our Ambassadors will be pleased to assist you in placing your order. In this case, your order acknowledgement and confirmation of order will be sent to you by fax.
Question: 

I do not see prices indicated for certain creations displayed in the e-Boutique. Where can I inquire about the price ? Are they available for purchase ?

We invite you to contact the Cartier Client Contact Center for information on creations for which no price is indicated in the e-Boutique and for more information on where these items are available. You can also click the ‘request information’ link featured on the product detail page.

Is there a Cartier e-Boutique cell phone application I can use to make a purchase ?

At present the Cartier e-Boutique is not enabled for mobile commerce. However, we invite you to contact our Client Contact Center for help and advice on making purchases over the telephone.

May I change or modify the chosen payment method or delivery type after my online order is submitted ?

Response: 
Unfortunately, once your order is completed Cartier must modify the payment method or the delivery type.

How may I receive a receipt for my e-Boutique purchase ?

Response: 
You will receive a delivery slip in your package with no prices listed. In addition, you will recieve a receipt for your e-Boutique purchase, unless you request otherwise from our Client Relation Center. It will be delivered separately from the package to your billing address.
Question: 

Is it possible to charge a single order to two different credit cards, or to use two different payment methods for the same order ?

Response: 

Currently it is not possible for us to accept payment using two different credit cards for a single order. If you are ordering more than one product, we suggest that you make a separate order for each purchase if you wish to use two separate credit cards.

Question: 

May I pick up my e-Boutique purchase at a Cartier boutique ?

Response: 
Not at this time. All purchases placed through the e-Boutique are shipped to the delivery address provided during the order process.

I live outside the United States. May I still place an order through the e-Boutique for delivery outside the US ?

Unfortunately, we are only able to take e-Boutique orders for delivery to addresses within the United States.

How many Cartier creations may I purchase in one order ?

You may only purchase a maximum of five Cartier creations in one order.

Do you offer gift-wrapping ?

All Cartier creations purchased through the e-Boutique are delivered in one of Cartier’s traditional red boxes. All creations are then carefully gift-wrapped and placed in a specially protected delivery package.

Will a Cartier shopping bag come with my purchase ?

A Cartier shopping bag is included with each order.

May I include a personal gift message with my purchase ?

Certainly. We invite you to include a message upon check-out, which will be printed on a Cartier gift card.

How long will it take to receive my order ?

For standard delivery, your creation should be delivered within seven business days (except Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays)..
For an express delivery, your creation should be delivered within two business days (except Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays)
Delivery may take longer if you have requested engraving or bracelet adjustment. For further information, please check our conditions of sales.
If you require a faster method of delivery, please contact one of our Cartier Ambassadors who will do their best to accommodate your request.

The Cartier e-Boutique accepts the following credit cards: American Express, Mastercard, Visa, Discover, Diners, and JCB.

If I am not pleased with my purchased, may I cancel, return or exchange it ?

Response: 

Yes. Creations purchased through the Cartier e-Boutique (either online or by telephone) may be Returned or exchanged within 30 days.
You may return or exchange your creation within thirty (30) days of the date of delivery, provided the creation is in its original packaging, in new and unused condition, with all materials and documents intact. If the creation you choose is more expensive than the one purchased, you will be charge the additional amount. If the creation you chose is of lesser value, your credit card will be credited the difference.
Should you wish to make an exchange, you must get in touch with our Client Contact Center. A Cartier Ambassador will provide you with an Return Authorization Number, to be noted on the return form which was included with your original packaging documents.
As we are sure you understand, Cartier cannot exchange items which have been engraved or modified.
You may also exchange your creation at your nearest Cartier Boutique or return for a store credit. No refunds will be provided through a Cartier Boutique.
